How was I introduced to CrossFit: When I moved into a neighborhood in DC there was a CrossFit Gym right down the street. Every time I walked by, the workout looked like so much fun. So I thought what the heck and gave it a try...I was instantly addicted because, well, I love dropping heavy things and the people are amazing.
My Favorite WOD/exercise is: My favorite WOD is Marguerita because you can do it at home when you can't quite get to the gym.
My 3 favorite movements are: Deadlifts (because I LOVE dropping heavy things), handstand push-ups (because though I can't do one without an AbMat, I can still gauge improvement), and Rope Climbs (always a challenge).
If I never had to do this exercise again I would be psyched: Used to be running, but now that just brings out determination, so I guess it's jump rope (many of you do DU, but I still work on my SU).
My favorite cheat food/meal is: ICE CREAM!!!
My proudest CrossFit accomplishment is: My 315 Deadlift
My six month goal is: Complete the Falmouth Road Race.
If I created a WOD and named it after myself, the workout would be: Deadlifts and handstand push-ups.
