How I was introduced to Upper Cape CrossFit:
Some good friends of mine (*cough cough* The Avants) raved about CrossFit for months and months and insisted I try it! I was TERRIFIED and avoided conversations about CrossFit with them at all costs. Finally, I gave in and went to the elements classes. I wanted to lie on the floor and die/puke/cry after each class but I was instantly hooked and knew it was going to be the change that I needed!
My favorite WOD/ exercise is:
I really like clean and jerks because it is a very technical and powerful movement! I just started working on my split jerk and I think it will help me move more weight, so I am excited to see where that gets me!
If I never had to do this exercise again I would be psyched:
If I never had to use the Air Assault bike again I would be a happy girl!

My proudest accomplishment would have to be climbing the rope for the first time a couple of weeks ago! It was a great feeling!
My six month goal is:
My six month goal is to have more confidence in myself! I tend to underestimate my abilities and that definitely holds me back!
If I created a WOD and named it after myself, the workout would be:
Well this is sort of a cop out but one of the reasons I love crossfit is because I don't have to come up with the workouts myself! But, if I HAD to come up with one it would be 4 rounds for time of 30 double unders, 20 box jumps and 10 deads.
What I love most about UCCF:
The thing I love most about UCCF is the community! I have met so many incredible people and life long friends. Everyone is so supportive and encouraging to one another and it is an amazing atmosphere. I love walking in the door at any class time and not knowing who I will be working out with but always finding someone to jive with for that workout! It is truly like I have another family at UCCF.
