Congratulations to Debbie Albert for being the Upper Cape CrossFit Athlete of the Month!  The enthusiasm and energy she brings to UCCF (usually at 5:00 AM) is contagious!   The sun might not be out when she gets here, but it sure seems like it is when she walks in with a great big smile on her face.  Deb gives everything she's got when she is here at UCCF (everywhere else for that matter).  She is consistently here, motivating everyone around her to work a little harder and to give a little more.
Keep it up Deb.....You're an inspiration!

How was I introduced to CrossFit:

I first heard about it when my daughter Emily had a trainer/coach who was a Crossfit trained person and she led workouts for Emily's Team USA team-The Haydenettes. However, my dear friend Jennifer Hayman was the person who asked if I would be interested in checking out UCCF and joining if we liked it! And join we did!  I went from initially only going three days to realizing I needed more/wanted more and now I try to go 5-6 days a week!

My Favorite WOD/exercise is:
I love rowing and sled drags!

My 3 favorite movements are:
Sled drags, box jumps (which took me a really long time to conquer!) and deadlifts.

If I never had to do this exercise again I would be psyched:
Burpees!!!  Wall balls are a close second!

My favorite cheat food/meal is:
Somerest ice cream-cranberry bog or warm homemade cookies (chocolate chip or ginger snaps with a glass of cold milk!.

My proudest CrossFit accomplishment is:
Making it  to the top of the rope climb without completely freaking out about how high up I was!

My six month goal is:

To be able to do front or back squats with better form with more weight

If I created a WOD and named it after myself,
the workout would be:

250 M row
25 deadlifts
250 M row
25 Box jumps
250 M row
5 sled drags
250 M row
