James "Gator" Hoeg
I kind of just stumbled into the box one day. I hadn't really exercised in about 5 years. I wanted to get in shape before I got a gym membership at W.O.W and assumed CrossFit was like a sort of boot camp I could do for a week.
Boy was I wrong.
My favorite WODs
Deck of cards is fun on a Saturday or Sunday because I love team stuff, but I really want to try the "Gator" (this is a real wod I found on BTWB)
Eight rounds for time of:
185 pound Front squat, 5 reps
26 Ring push-ups
Least Favorite Move:
Double Unders are the bane of my existence.
My favorite cheat food:
If I eat ice cream every day, doesn't count as a cheat meal or daily diet?
My proudest moment so far:
Getting muscle ups by accident!

Be better than I am today.

What I love most about UCCF?
The community and hearing someone ring the bell because we all are in this together! You guys are my team mates and my Family! The best part of my day is when I'm on my way to the box. Because I know I get to hang out with the most passionate and dedicated people I know!!

I remember I couldn't even do a pull-up without a band when I did the baseline. My first goal ever at Uccf was to be able to do a pull-up.
