We asked Jon a couple of questions you are all dying to know!
How did you learn about CrossFit?
I was introduced to xfit by a youtube series called "killing the fat man." It was inspirational to say the least. Debra and I then made an appointment to speak with Greg. The first question I asked was, do you have a defibrillator, and do you know how to use it.
What is your favorite WOD?
My favorite wod is probably the filthy 50, or the 12 days, or the 31 we did on NYE. All of us suffering together is the shit.
If I never had to do this movement again I would not be sad:
I hate to say it, but my nemesis is a thruster. Having said that, I have to master it.
What is your favorite "Cheat" meal?
My cheat meal would be a pastrami/steak and xtra cheese sub w fries and a 30 pack.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
My proudest accomplishment is that entire family is as into it as I am. I am also pretty pumped to have been able to recruit some of my best friends to join us.
What is your 6 month goal?
6 month goal is to be able to do muscle ups and run a 5k without walking.
Programming is all yours...create a WOD and name it!
If I created a wod for me it would be called "folsberg", and consist of clean and jerk, pull ups and burpees. I know, sounds fun right?
What do you like most about being a part of Upper Cape CrossFit?
What I love most about UCCF is the parties...nahhhh! All of the great friends I have made, the feeling of all these people (except A-Aron) who have my back and want me to succeed, and all the coaches who teach and push every day. Yes Shane, even you. All this starts at the top with you guys, thanks for everything. You have facilitated a life change for Debra and I. Ya Im long winded, so what!
