How I was introduced to CrossFit:
Dawn and Robby Rebello talked me into it when I was looking for a nicer "gym" to go to in the area. They talked about it for several months and I wasn't truly sold on the idea until I actually went and saw your BOX.
My favorite WOD/ exercise is:
My favorite exercise has to be Thrusters, I don't know why I just really love doing them. Maybe because I get such a burn from doing them.
If I never had to do this exercise again I would be psyched: The pistol, probably because I can't do a correct one yet. Seriously a hard exercise to do.
My favorite cheat food/meal is: Pasta, I love some good old pasta!!!
My proudest accomplishment is: Being a Mother, a Wife, in the military for 13 years and still be able to do CrossFit my whole pregnancy minus the last few weeks due to back pain.
My six month goal is: Heal from the Cesarean and get my ass back in the Box at UCCF and kick my own ass harder than I've ever done!
If I created a WOD and named it after myself, the workout would be called:
Butt Winks and consist of mostly Thrusters.
What I love most about Upper Cape CrossFit (UCCF):
It's the one thing that I look forward to daily. It's a family to me and I love each and every one of UCCF Coaches and Members. We all learn and support each other and it's just a great place to go knowing you're doing the same WOD as everyone else so don't be nervous, because we are all in it together!
